for local employers for the Department of Works and Pensions Kickstart Scheme.
If your organisation is creating fewer than 30 job placements, you can apply directly.
However, using an approved gateway provider such as a training provider, can make the process quicker and ensures compliance with the process and the mandatory training, that’s where at Heart & Soul Community Training can help.
These must be new jobs and not replace existing or planned vacancies, and they cannot cause existing
employees to lose or reduce their employment. The role must be a minimum of 25 hours per week, for 6 months, pay at least the National Minimum Wage for their age group.
No training need before they begin the job placement. A wrap around support to help the individual look for long-term work, including career advice and setting goals, support with CV and interview preparations. Supporting the participant with basic skills, such as attendance, timekeeping and teamwork.
The governement may ask for evidence of how each individual has gathered basic skills including:

We will ensure the skills are incoporated in our package deal.
